Thanks to the Parker Avery Group, RetailROI helped seed fund 6 new businesses in Jamaica. The hope of the Jamaica Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (JEDI) in late 2021. The hope for this program and Parker Avery’s commitment is to coach and help fund startups that will create employment opportunities in the Clarendon parish in the center of Jamaica. Many have traveled to Jamaica for the resorts and amazing beaches. This opulence on the coast often covers the poverty that exists in the central mountainous region where industry and jobs are scarce. The JEDI program is just the first of several programs that we hope to start in Jamaica. Our sincere hope is that we will have multiple trips a year, several of which we can bring our teen and college age kids for perspective. We have the opportunity to serve several communities and vulnerable children/young adults ranging from age 3-20 years of age. Please join us on a future trip.
